PERFORMANCES / CONCERTS Creative, lively, imaginative Music Performances Kathleen performs thematic, interactive, engaging concerts for the young and old of your church as well as the unchurched people of your community. Using a combination of piano, keyboard synthesizer, guitar, hammered dulcimer, a variety of musical stylings from classical to jazz, and voice. EXAMPLES: A POST-EASTER CONCERT, "Easter Monday" For this concert we examine together why, if Jesus' resurrection is so important, we don't look any different after Easter than before? We start by a moving musical medley that takes us from the Fall through the Resurrection, then light-heartedly changing gears to peak at the things that keep us away from truly living out our lives under God's grace and mercy. A CHRISTMAS CONCERT, "Santa and the Savior" Using Santa Claus and all that is found within the Christmas traditions of our culture, we explore our deep longings for love, acceptance, hope, and grace - all which lead directly to the Savior. A great cultural cross-over concert, easily done as a missional outreach of your church in a community setting. Full of fun audience participation, full of warmth, yet thought provoking for Christians and non-Christians alike.
